Lost On Main (Chico, CA) 319 Main Street Chico, CA Promoter : Devil Kat Rock Special Notes : Part of a new crop of fresh Nor Cal dub sounds, Redding-based The Melodramatics mix reggae, rock, dub and ska to bring an upbeat, energetic style all their own. Influenced by bands such as Sublime, The Expendables, Slightly Stoopid, and Reel Big Fish, the band bridges generation gaps and fills dance floors with their dub rock vibe wherever they play. Making music since 2001, The Melodramatics consists of founding members, Caleb Saccheri (Guitar/Vocals) and Jesse Geron (bass). In 2007, Richard Hughes (Trombone/Keyboard) aka Dick the Boner joined the crew adding his brass and keys to fill out the ska vibe. Kyle P (Drums), is the most recent addition to the band (joining in 2010), laying a solid foundation with his drumming. The Melodramatics kicked off 2010 with a 4-song EP, Dirty Beach, which showcases a polished sound emphasizing their reggae and rock styles more than the bands previous punk rock leanings. The EP is a preview of whats to come in the bands next full-length self-titled album scheduled for release in Fall 2010. With a strong DIY work ethic, the band has recorded a half dozen self-produced albums, relentlessly toured up and down the West Coast, and has had the honor to share the stage with national acts The Ataris and Reel Big Fish. The Melodramatics have just been selected as High Times Magazines Unsigned Artist of October 2010. |

His primary instruments are double bass and guitar. Joe Bucks first serious musical project was called Gringo. In the late 1990s, Joe Buck emerged as the guitarist for The Legendary Shack Shakers. He played all guitar, bass and drums on their 2003 album Cockadoodledont. He played bass for Hank Williams IIIs country/hellbilly Damn Band, and was also member of Williams punk-metal project Assjack. He is credited, along with Williams and Andy Gibson, with engineering and producing Williams album, Straight to Hell, and appears to have recorded backing vocals for Hank Williams IIIs Bootleg #3 Pre-Release album.
